Delete your YieldHarvest account and data
YieldHarvest allows you to delete your account and the app data associated with it. You can delete your account directly in the app or submit a deletion request through the YieldHarvest website.
Delete your account in the app
- Open YieldHarvest.
- Open your Profile.
- Go to “Sensitive actions”.
- Select “Delete account”.
- Confirm the deletion.
- Registered users complete the requested re-authentication.
When deletion succeeds, YieldHarvest deletes the Firebase Authentication account and the associated primary YieldHarvest user-data tree.
The app may then automatically create a new, separate anonymous session. This new anonymous session is not the deleted account and does not restore any deleted data.
Deleting a YieldHarvest account does not delete your separate Google Account, Apple Account, Google Play account or Apple App Store account.
Data deleted for registered accounts
The regular account and app data deleted from the primary YieldHarvest user record includes:
- the Firebase Authentication account;
- the YieldHarvest user ID and profile information;
- the email address, display name, username and avatar selection stored by YieldHarvest;
- app settings, language and currency;
- advertising and consent preferences;
- notification tokens and notification settings;
- watchlists, favourites, portfolio entries and alerts;
- saved chart layouts;
- redirect or user-related history entries in the personal user-data tree;
- reward and BitAdMiner data in the personal user-data tree;
- client-readable subscription and entitlement projections; and
- other app data stored under the primary YieldHarvest user record.
Anonymous accounts
Anonymous accounts can be deleted at any time directly in the app by following the same account-deletion steps.
An anonymous account does not require the registered-account re-authentication step.
If you no longer have access to the anonymous session, support may be unable to identify it securely. Contact support without sending passwords, tokens or other secrets, and YieldHarvest will assess what can be verified safely.
Request deletion through the website
If you cannot use the in-app deletion option, use the YieldHarvest support form and select “Account deletion”, or email connect@yieldharvest.app.
Where possible, use the email address shown in your YieldHarvest Profile. YieldHarvest may require appropriate verification that you control the account before carrying out an external deletion request. Verification will not request unnecessary sensitive information.
Never send secrets or unnecessary sensitive data
Do not send passwords, one-time or two-factor codes, Google or Apple credentials, OAuth tokens, purchase or linked purchase tokens, store receipts or full store documents, wallet credentials, seed phrases, private keys, complete or unnecessary portfolio data, or other information that is not required for the request.
Limited retention
YieldHarvest may retain a limited subset of pseudonymized or security-relevant records where necessary for subscription ownership, fraud and abuse prevention, transaction reconciliation, dispute handling, security, support, or applicable legal obligations.
Such records are retained only for as long as necessary for those purposes or as required by applicable obligations. They are not used to recreate the deleted account or restore its deleted app data.
Google Play and Apple App Store subscriptions
Deleting a YieldHarvest account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store.
You must manage or cancel the subscription separately in the store where it was purchased. YieldHarvest cannot automatically cancel a store subscription by deleting the app account.
- Manage or cancel a Google Play subscription (opens in a new tab)
- Manage or cancel an Apple subscription (opens in a new tab)
The applicable store manages billing, cancellation, possible refunds and any remaining paid subscription period.
